Van Rossen Architects is a Brussels based studio that performs architecture and urban design.
Matthias Van Rossen (eng. architect, K.U.Leuven 2001) has more than 10 years of experience with small and large projects of many different kinds (public buildings, housing, urban planning, office buildings).
First he worked in Paris for Edouard François and Ateliers Lion. There he was a member of the winning team for the large scale urban projects in Marseille, Strasbourg and Paris. More recently in Belgium, he lead the design and the construction of the Vlaams Centrum voor Hedendaagse Glaskunst in Lommel for Samyn and Partners. This art institution was nominated for “International Building of the Year 2007” at the LEAF Awards in London. Thereafter he lead the construction of the Sibelga main office building in Brussels for Conix Architects. Currently he is also co-leading the project for the Rogier Square with metro station for Xaveer De Geyter Architects in Brussels.
Matthias has a fluent knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
